The exports of softwood in Germany according to the statements of the Federal Bureau of Statistics in January 2011 decreased with 14.9% compare with 2010, accounted for only 110566 m3.
A place of destination of german exports, accounting for approximately 58% is still Austria (64 638 m3, 2.5%). This ist followed by a massive decline of exports from Belgium (-87.6% in 3427 m3), Czech Republic 8178m3 (47.1%) and France 7746m3 (54.9%).
The beech exports was in January 2011 a total of 27 297m3, whitch represents an increase of 8.5% compared with January 2010. The main destination for German exports is China, representing 25% (6917 m2, 18.2%) followed by Poland with 3645m3 (45.7%) and U.S. 2961m3 (+17.1%).
