The Government with the Japanese delegation visited last month the Forestry Academy of Rottenburg. In the International Year of Forests - 2011, the Forestry Academy will expand the work in other countries. After the visit of Minister of Agriculture in Paraguay a few weeks ago, a second visit of a high-level delegates takes place: the Japanese government promisses a colaboration with the Forestry Academy of Rottenburg for resolving its internal forest problems.
In Japan, most forests were planted 50 years ago and now the trees need special care. Forestry and forestry techniques, which are important elements of forestry education are still unknown in Japan. They all know only one thing: to cut forests.
The objectives are exchange experience – students, teachers, schools and active contributions of Forestry Academy to train and educate the Japanese children. An agreement regardind this issue will be signed during the first half of 2011.
