Perm region has received from the federal budget 12 million rubles for the purchase of vehicles for forestry.
According to the Director of the Regional Environmental Agency, Aleksey Kamenev, virtually for all forestry territories from Prikam region (33 at all) will be purchased new cars "UAZ" and "Niva", for fast reaction of the foresters in situations of fire, illegal cutting of forests, in order to perform successfully such tasks.
In 2008, the forestry regions from Gornozavodsk, Kuedinsk, Kungursk, Solikamsk, Cherdinsk and other 3 districts of the Komi-Permyatsk – Kosinsk, Yurlinsk si Yus`vinsk were supplied with 8 new cars.
This year will be purchased 25 cars for the forestry, of which 2 cars will be for Dobryabsk and Kolvinsk forestry region (Cherdinsk area).
Besides, in the third quarter of 2009, the region will receive 15 million rubles, money meant for purchasing snowmobiles and boats, to be used by forestries.
