PRESS RELEASE:
40% of the energy used in Hungary is consumed by the population – out of which the 75% is used up for the heating and lately for cooling of buildings. The initially in Germany developed passive house consumes – in contrast with the traditional ways of building – minimal energy and so become „passive”. The solutions offered by them can also be used by existing buildings. The passive houses are buildings using extremely low energy amount, in which the pleasant temperature can be secured in winter and summer without any heating or cooling systems. The sum of money reserved for heating can be cut down with 80-90%.
The passive houses and inside them the renewable energy sources, that represent the top of the energy efficiency, lead together to the buildings that can be supported in the long run.
The suggested complementary solutions are: heat pump heating, warm water gained with solar power, stream production with photovoltaic, heating with pellets and biomass.
The CEP® - Clean Energy & Passivhaus is one of the international events organised by the REECO group, dealing with the topic above, which presents at the beginning of each year in Stuttgart the entire range of energy efficiency and technologies of passive house building, as the Hungarian visitors could confirm.
On the 7th and 8th of October 2009 will be organised for the first time in Budapest the CEP® Passive House Expo – International Passive Exhibition and Conference – Central Europe.
The exhibition and conference held in the EUCC – Europe Congress Centre, will present the entire range of energy efficient construction. The accentuated theme is the passive house. The 30 expected exhibitors – producers, contractors, energy suppliers, experts from science and research as well as from business life, associations, media, ministries and authorities – will present their products, services and innovations to the 750-800 visitors expected. Besides the private builders, the target group represent also the communities, local developers, operators and renovator of public buildings and banks that finance these kind of developments.
In parallel to the exhibition there will be organised a one day international conference with the central topic of energy efficient architecture and the passive house. There are expected about 300 experts from the field of policy, architecture, energetics, associations and media who will get informed about the technical and practical realizations and the latest research achievements. The co-organisers of the conference are the MAPASZ – Hungarian Passive House Association and the Passive House Academy Kft.
The presentations in English and Hungarian, will be held by international experts – German, Austrian, Swiss and other – and national ones, that will give not only an overview but also practical examples, solutions for the passive house theory, passive house planning, licences and implementation questions, experiences in this field and development trends. A topic will be the technical education, courses, possibility of organising future trainings and of courses the applications in this field.
