At the end of December, 2008 in St. Petersburg in the exhibition network “RESTEC”, was held a meeting of Exhibition Organizators of the Russian network of woodworking "Technodrev".
There were discussed new options for advancing on the industry market, the tasks of training and development of exhibition and congress activities of Technodrev network in 2009. The russian network of woodworking exhibitions - Technodrev - exists for 4 years - international projects that promote logging, woodworking and furniture industry, equipping Russian companies with modern machines, equipments and tools. During this period, the project has become a large-scale event, many enterprises and companies from all Russia, as well as other foreign countries have become permanent participants in the network project. These projects contribute to the development of new technologies in the forestry sector on the regional markets. The main objectives of Technodrev network is the promotion of modern technologies and innovations on the domestic market of forest industry. For this project, were selected major regional centres of Russia: St. Petersburg, Perm, Krasnoyarsk and Habarovsk, where there are economic opportunities (natural resources, availability of production facilities, personnel, transportation infrastructure) for the successful development of the lumber industry, are active investment processes, in the modern exhibition venues are working the most important companies in the region. The exhibition themes, which are part of the Technodrev network, have its own priorities, formed with the main development trends of industry market in each region.
