It is very well known the fact that France is among the first countries in the world concerning the development of wood industry. With a long tradition, cherished throughout the years, France has a reputation at the international level by the multitude of events and approaches organized in this direction: exhibitions, conferences, show rooms, fairs, associations , organizations, and so on.
In the same manner in which it has accustomed to visitors, public and professionals from the field, the European Exhibition of Wood and Sustainable Habitat houses annually in Grenoble, France over 300 exhibitors from various fields such as the wooden houses, construction of passive houses, eco-materials, machining and wood processing, renewable energy, and so on.
The 2008 edition will be held between 3-6 April at the Centre Alpexpo - Grenoble and will be specifically dedicated to sustainable human settlements, to the concept of building bio-climatic or to the concept of passive houses.
By adapting each year with new trends, changes and demands on the timber market, the exhibition is the only event of such big importance dedicated exclusively to the timber production and to the related sectors: wood-frame houses, solid wood construction, traditional and contemporary, bio-climatic, holiday wood homes, new technologies and solutions for the exterior and interior design.
In this perspective, the show is transformed not only in a large exhibition centre, but it offers also specialized information, developed for all preferences and needs of those who are interested in. |
