The Russian Government included the project of an important woodworking enterprise from Ust- Kut (Irkutsk region) in the list of priority projects from wood industry.
Its annual production capacity is about 1 million cubic meters. According to the administration of Irkutsk region, the plant will use German, Finnish and Russian technologies. According to the investors, in this project were allocated over 4 billion rubles.
There are another similar projects in the federal entities from Eastern Siberia. According to the statistics, currently the East Siberian region occupies one of the last positions regarding the level of forestry`s industrialization.
