According to Rosstat, the woodworking sector increased with 4.9%, during January - October 2011, over the same period last year. In relation to September 2011, the index of wood processing and manufacturing of wood products amounted to 97.9% in October 2011. Most of the 10 months of 2011 compared to the APPG has increased the production of wooden prefabricated houses (30%), particle boards (21.5%), flooring (43.8%), pellets (13.6%). Pulp and paper production in January - October 2011 amounted to 100.6% of APPG. Manufacture of pulp, mechanical pulp, paper, paperboard and articles thereof increased during the 10 months to 4.4%.
